KURIKULUM BERBASIS KOMPETENSI (KBK)

Competency-based curriculum is a curriculum that contains the plan and arrangement of competencies to be achieved by learners, learning activities, assessment, and empowerment of educational resources. As a curriculum, CBC would have a foundation in its development. Its Foundation are:
1) Philosophical: Pancasila
2) Legal: the 1945 Constitution as amended and GBHN 1999
3) Empirical: social, economic, culture, globalization, and comparative international curriculum.
As the name implies, CBC more emphasis on students' skills in learning. The ability itself is the knowledge, skills, attitudes and values ​​that must be controlled by learners and reflected in the students and reflected in the habits of thinking and acting. The characteristics of the CBC are:

As a curriculum, the CBC would need to be continuously developed to suit the times and in accordance with the student's ability at that time. There are three methods in developing CBC, namely research, dissemination (information dissemination), and development.
