KTSP DAN IMPLEMENTASINYA

Currently, Indonesia is implementing regional autonomy. This means that each region has the role to set its own territory, including the field of education. In this case, the central government to set standards of competence done by local government and tailored to each area.
To implement the autonomy of the education sector, the government developed a curriculum that is appropriate, ie level of the education curriculum (SBC). SBC is the operational curriculum developed and implemented by each educational unit.
The legal foundation of the curriculum are:
1) Government Regulation Number 19 Year 2005 on National Education Standards
2) Minister of National Education Regulation No. 22 of 2006 on the Content Standards for Elementary and Secondary Education Unit
3) the Minister of National Education Regulation No. 23 of 2006 on Graduate Competency Standards For Primary And Secondary Education Unit
4) Minister of National Education Regulation No. 24 of 2006.
As curriculum, course curriculum will be developed into competency standards and syllabus. The development is based on the principles:
1) centered on the potential, progress, needs and interests of learners and their environment
2) diverse and integrated
3) responsive to the development of science, technology and art
4) relevant to the needs of life
5) comprehensive and sustainable
6) lifelong learning
7) balance between national interests and regional interests
To be applied in teaching and learning, curriculum should be translated first into the syllabus. The steps are:
1) Assess the Competency Standards and Basic Competency Standards as contained in the Content
2) Identify the Basic Materials that support the achievement of competency standards and competency
3)  increase Learning Experience
4) Formulate Indicators of Success Learning is developed in accordance with the characteristics of educational units, and regional potential learners, and formulated in a measurable verb operational and / or observable
5) Determination of type of assessment is done based on indicators
6) Determine the Allocation of Time based on the number of weeks of effective and time allocation subjects per week
7) Determining the Source of Learning is based on the standards of competence and basic competencies and subject matter, learning activities, and indicators of achievement of competencies.
